Chairman Akram Al-Assaf met with Nahdat Jeel  candidates’ media managers to discuss their campaign strategies stressing on the importance to abide by the directives and laws issued by the Independent High Electoral Commission during  forthcoming launch of the candidates’ media campaigns on April 10.

Nahdat Jeel candidates reaffirmed their commitment to the party’s national policies and priorities  and will run the upcoming parliamentary elections in alliance with the National Coalition led by the President of the National Coalition Dr. Ayad Allawi.

Nahdat Jeel parliamentary candidates come together to discuss party’s platform of priorities and positions

Nahdat Jeel parliamentary candidates met with Chairman Akram  Al-Assaf to discuss the party’s national policy vision and priorities ahead of the elections. The meeting was held on March 12, 2018 to identify a list of common policy goals and agenda items. Chairman Al-Assaf reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people for a brighter tomorrow and stressed on the importance of running the election campaigns with transparency and integrity in line with the Independent High Electoral Commission standards.

Women are not one half of society, women are the entire society

A consultative meeting was held with Chairman Akram Al-Assaf and the group’s women leaders and community members on December 26, 2017 to discuss women’s taking leading roles in society and their participation in decision-making and access to political leadership opportunities and resources.

Women’s inclusion in stabilization and reconstruction operations in Iraq is an integral part of the overall strategy to rebuild the country and this is can only be achieved by putting a proper road map to ensure the implementation of these strategies.

Women are not one half of society, women are the entire society and their inclusion in our future national strategies is vital to rebuilding our society and our country.

Tribal leaders hosted at Tajammo’ Nahdat Jeel headquarters

Chairman Akram Al-Assaf and Tajammo’ Nahdat Jeel members were honored to welcome tribal leaders and community elders from all Iraqi provinces at Tajammo’ Nahdat Jeel headquarters in Baghdad. The meetings stressed on the importance of working together to promote Iraq’s unity, ensure its stability and preserve the rights of the martyrs and their families.

Tajammo’ Nahdat Jeel will introduce plans for removing obstacles to start a business, improving the legal environment, facilitating international trade and removing bureaucratic inefficiencies to create a positive investment environment and build investor confidence in Iraq. The party will introduce plans for structural reforms that strengthen the private sector and create job opportunities. This will impact the economic, social and development conditions in Iraq and will be a step forward to secure a better future for our people.
